Applesauce is ready for adoption.  She saw a surgeon for possible ear surgery and its great news - no surgery required.  She had a very rough life at first that added some complications to her ear but with regular ear drops/ear cleaning solution - she is just fine. 

Applesauce (formerly known as Matilda when we rescued her) and her 2 kittens came to us via a rescue that went to the Northfield Racetrack and picked up the stray cats.  She was adopted out with her son Buttercup and then returned (no fault of her own).  She is currently in a foster home. Applesauce is a very laid back cat, friendly and usually just lays back and takes in everything that is going on around her.  She is described by her foster Mom as the "perfect" cat.  She enjoys the company of the resident cat, doesn't mind other foster cats coming in and dogs that come and go.  She is extremely affectionate and would like nothing more than to find an amazing forever home where she'll be showered with attention and love.  If you are interested in her, or any of the cats/kittens Freedom Pets has, please fill out an application and get pre approved.  Approval process takes 1 to 2 weeks.  You can send us an email, requesting an application at:  rescue1.fp@gmail.com.
